SafeMark® Training Food Safety & Sanitation Training
Meets your State requirements for manager certification!
MIRA is now offering comprehensive food safety and sanitation training programs for supermarkets, convenience stores, bars and restaurants, derived from retail’s best practices and developed by the Food Marketing Institute.
Structured as a 1 or 2 day class, this combined training and exam program qualifies your employees for certification with the Food Marketing Institute and puts your business in compliance where applicable and/or at the head of food safety business practices and initiatives. All classes are exclusive, private, and require registration and pre-payment.
C-STORE / BARS & RESTAURANTS
SafeMark® training, designed for managers and food handlers specifically in convenience stores, helps the person-in-charge understand:
- Causes of food borne illness
- Factors that contribute to these diseases, and
- Basic food safety measures that can be implemented to prevent food borne illness.
Food Handler: $40
The Food Handler training, offered online or classroom in-person, provides your employees content in order to protect a retailer’s customers and reputation. Topics cover food hazards, personal hygiene, cleaning and sanitizing, and time/temperature control.
Food Manager: $159
The Food Manager training, offered online or classroom in-person, provides food safety managers and supervisors with the knowledge to train staff and achieve food manager certification. The curriculums include all of the Food Handler content but in much more detail.
