Treasury routinely hosts free educational seminars throughout Michigan connecting businesses, tax service providers, and other stakeholders with Treasury representatives. These seminars provide an opportunity to learn about important tax processing and tax compliance topics as well as Treasury updates. Our ongoing goal through this outreach program is to enhance communication, foster a culture of taxpayer service, and develop continuous improvement projects through your feedback.

Business Tax and Michigan Treasury Online (MTO) Webinar
MTO is an online resource for business taxpayers. You can use MTO to file tax returns, pay tax amounts due, and maintain Treasury registration information. This webinar covers sales, use, and withholding tax basics, collecting tax, filing and payment rules, and using MTO featuring a live demonstration. Upon registering, you will receive an optional questionnaire; the responses will be used to develop webinar content.
