By Bill Wild // MIRA President & CEO
With the July-August issue of MIRA’s award winning Bottom Line magazine you will notice that it is packed with MORE great articles, interviews with the movers & shakers, all the latest industry news and MORE spotlights on membership. The BottomLine’s stories, photos and industry information will reflect more of our multi-state, multi-industry membership. You can expect to see MORE about MIRA’s portfolio of programs and services to help improve your Bottomline.
Another big change will be the new improved monthly MIRA Insider E-newsletter that is delivered free to your inbox and is available only to MIRA members. The improved E-newsletter will have timely updates on industry news but also, MORE insider information on new programs, discounts and rebates, and members will be able to list their businesses for sale here as well, giving you a sneak peek on what may be available before it is public.
You will also notice MIRA has created a larger footprint on social media and I ask you follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. If your business has an active social media presence, we want to connect with you to help raise awareness of our membership and help build the MIRA brand. Please share photos of your storefronts, displays, employee milestones and community involvement and we will make sure they get noticed!
Speaking of the MIRA brand, with this issue please notice the slight change to the MIRA logo. We have added BUSINESS as one of our core values, alongside ADVOCATE and EDUCATE. MIRA’s Board of Governors and staff are committed to partnering with you to improve your business’s bottom line and bring continued value to your membership. You can expect to see new and innovative programs to deliver on this commitment, while we will continue to be the voice of Midwest independent retailers and be your partner in compliance.
Your business is part of the premier trade association in the food, beverage and petroleum industries since 1910 and your membership and support are much appreciated.
