The company will be moving into central Ohio within two years

ALTOONA, Penn.—Sheetz is expanding into central Ohio, the Pittsburgh Business Times reports. The company already has 40 stores in the northeast part of the state and will open a location in Columbus in 2021.
In mid-December, Sheetz will unveil its 600th location. Currently, the company has stores in six states: Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia and North Carolina. The chain has built a fan base with its made-to-order food and grab-and-go selections of sandwiches and baked goods. This week, Sheetz also put a Beyond Burger on all of its menus.
Last month, Sheetz ended up on the Best Workplaces in Retail 2019’s top 10 best workplaces list, along with Cumberland Farms The chain also made it to dunnhumby’s top convenience retailers, along with QuikTrip and Wawa.
