As a member of the MIRA, we always want to make sure that you are compliant in the way you run your business. Please be aware that MIRA does not condone the sale of any products that reflect badly upon the MIRA name or goodwill, in fact, it is highly discouraged. Counterfeit goods for sale at MIRA Member businesses reflect badly upon the MIRA name, are not supported for sale, and should not be sold at any MIRA Member business. It has come to our attention that some of our members may be selling counterfeit and/or infringing Apple products, including USB power adapters and possibly other products which bear unauthorized copies of the Apple Marks and/or infringe Apple’s patent rights.
To be clear, counterfeit goods are not supported for sale at any MIRA Member business. Apple has made it clear that it will protect its trademarks, including potentially taking legal action against anyone allegedly infringing on Apple’s trademarks. In addition, other trademark owners may similarly monitor to determine whether their trademarks are be misappropriated and also take legal action against any infringers. Therefore, offering for sale or selling any counterfeit goods not only puts your business at risk, but also leaves you open to potential litigation by the trademark owners. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to service you.
