In lieu of the recent news that a second health care worker in Dallas, Texas, tested positive for Ebola virus this week, NGA has developed a document to provide our members with information and resources they may need regarding the Ebola virus and to address growing public concerns.
It is important to emphasize that the Ebola virus can only be spread by direct contact with body fluids, such as blood and secretions, from an already infected person. Ebola is not spread through casual contact, air, water, or food legally purchased or grown in the US. See below for links for more information:
